Zoom Integration Guide

Connect your virtual classroom with Learning Shaper

This guide provides instructions on how to add, use, and remove the Learning Shaper integration for Zoom. This integration allows teachers to schedule and launch live classes directly from the School Management System (SMS).

1. How to Add the App

Log in to your Learning Shaper Dashboard.

Navigate to Academic Mgmt > Live Classes.

Click the Connect Zoom Account button.

Review permissions on the Zoom OAuth page and click Allow.

2. How to Use the App

Creating a Class

Select your class/section and click "Schedule New Zoom Meeting". It syncs instantly with your Zoom account.

Starting a Meeting

Teachers can launch the class directly from the dashboard by clicking the "Start Class" button.

Student Access

Students join via a single "Join Class" button in their portal—no separate meeting IDs required.

3. How to Remove the App

Via Learning Shaper

Go to Settings > Integrations, find Zoom, and click Disconnect.

Via Zoom App Marketplace

  1. Login to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Click Manage > Added Apps.
  3. Click Remove next to Learning Shaper.

4. Troubleshooting & Support

License Status: Ensure your Zoom account is "Licensed" for meetings over 40 minutes.

Token Issues: If sync fails, try disconnecting and reconnecting to refresh OAuth tokens.
