Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a school or educational institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

2. Use of the Service

• Eligibility: You must be an authorized staff member, student, or parent of a registered partner school.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
• Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to attempt to breach the system's security (including SQL injection or WAF bypassing), use the Service for illegal purposes, or upload malicious code.

3. Institutional Responsibilities

As a School Management System, the school (the "Subscriber") is responsible for:

• Ensuring the accuracy of student and staff data.
• Obtaining necessary parental consent for data processing of minors.
• Managing user permissions and revoking access for former employees or students.

4. Intellectual Property

All software, code (including Groovy/Grails logic), UI designs, and branding associated with Learning Shaper are the exclusive property of [Your Company/Project Name]. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended educational purposes.

5. Service Availability and Support

Uptime: While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.

Third-Party Integrations: Our Service integrates with third parties (e.g., Zoom API). We are not liable for outages or changes in policy from these providers.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Bangladesh, Learning Shaper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or loss of academic records.

7. Termination

By User: Schools may terminate their subscription according to their specific Service Level Agreement (SLA).

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or fail to pay subscription fees.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka.
